President Trump's 28-Point Peace Plan.

President Trump's 28-Point Peace Plan is the often repeated but now irrefutably defined proof that the US in on the same page as Putin about the causes and resolutions of Russia's war in Ukraine.

But this time is different.  This time the US sets down conditions for peace that are essentially the oft repeated war aims of Russia but now they are the conditions the US wishes to impose on Ukraine.

The first thing this shows that NATO is dead.  If the US behaves like this towards a totally wronged Ukraine, it will not defend a  NATO member state attacked by the Russian, as Washington is "committed to do under Clause 5 of the Montreal/NATO Treaty.

Secondly,  The Europeans and the Ukrainians will have to refuse to approve this "Peace Plan", unless they manage to undo the proposal in its details because they cross so many red lines,  If the deal is refused by Ukraine and Europe that will be the Yalta moment.  Trump may abandon both Ukraine and Europe (including NATO).

The costs and risks of Europe figting on alone against Russia, (which will be immediately enticed into more aggression by the failure of the Peace plan) makes European assets look dangerously over-priced .  Own Asia instead.
